Nolan is a television/ YouTube mystery investigator, part archaeologist, part historical explainer of the weird and wacky.
When he and his TV crew, including a newspaper reporter and a new backer go to investigate reports of a hidden cave, at first they are unsuccessful, but then they think they have struck gold...until a series of unfortunate events strike the party.
Its hard to say more without spoiling the plot, except to say that some of the events seemed a little far fetched and unbelievable.... But maybe this was the authors intention, it is after all a work of fiction.
Despite this, the book flowed fairly well, and the main characters were generally well rounded and there was some nice background into why they reacted how they did.
Not my favourite read, but enjoyable enough.
