I had high hopes for this book, but it fell short of my expectations. The prologue was confusing and did not make much sense to me but it did make me want to read on and find out more.
Unfortunately, I could not get into the story or the characters in the way that I had hoped. Most of the characters were introduced well. However, I did not enjoy the dialogue between them. I also found it difficult to engage with the narrative and visualise the setting, despite the descriptions and the pictures from the files of Nolan Moore.
In short, this book was too far-fetched for my liking and I would not read it again. However, I am sure others will enjoy it and I would not be surprised to see it turned into a film one day.
