Well this started out as a group of kooky folk making a tv show about things from the likes of the fortean files, but quickly turned into something else entirely.

Great location in the wilderness of the Grand Canyon, searching for a hidden cavern halfway up one of the lesser explored canyon walls, based on evidence of a long ago expedition that had perhaps elaborated a little on its location so no one else could find it. The host of the tv show had made it his mission to find it and had researched extensively everything he could find on the subject, and thought he had cracked the rough location they should concentrate on.

All seems to go well to begin with, they found the area and searched up and down and had almost given up, when through the camera the cameraman spotted something they hadn't been able to see properly before with the naked eye, enough to warrant a closer look. It wasn't high enough to be what they thought they were looking for, but it may just be a different way in. They start a treacherous climb and discover they are inside, and from there things start to take a turn after the Indiana Jones cliche rolling ball seals them inside. I can't go further without major spoilers but it definitely wasn't what i was expecting, but it sure had me hooked to the end from there.

Despite the author being a screenwriter i really hope this proves to be unfilmable, due to taking place so much in apparent pitch darkness. No amount of special effects work would be able to do justice to what you picture in your own head as you follow these people on their journey.
