The Anomaly is a book written by Michael Marshall Smith a well known novelist under the pseudonym Michael Rutger.
This is the story of a screenwriter turned filmmaker who with a small team investigates weird and peculiar occurrences. This time they are in the Grand Canyon investigating a paper that an old adventurer wrote for the Smithsonian about wonderful artefacts hidden in a cavern high up the side of the Grand Canyon.
The characters are well rounded and believable as there is plenty of background to the main protagonists. The prose well written and pacy enough to keep you wanting to read more and not put the book down.
I really enjoyed this book and can recommend it without hesitation to people who enjoy the adventure/thriller genre.
