The premise of this book sounded intriguing....and I love to be intrigued.
It started well, couldn’t put it down...thought this is my sort of book!
I’m an avid reader of Andy McDermott, Scott Mariani and Clive Cussler and expected this book to be fast paced and exciting in the same way as their books are.
I loved the setting for the book....that part of the world is one of my favourites.
However it didn’t live up to my expectations.....it became very formulaic and a bit silly.
To me it felt that the author should have gone back and reviewed what he’d written and expanded his characters, told us more about the historical aspect of the anomaly. The ending I had already guessed.
A promising idea and start let down by a weak ending.
