I have never read a book that has actually made me very scared to go to sleep at night! It took me a while to get into this book at first, and I really did think about giving up, but then Nolan and his team venture into the cavern and all hell breaks loose! Life as we know it has a reset button and, my god, they nearly had an apocalypse on their hands. Strange things happen, murder, deception, tunnels, caves, claustrophobic situations that having you holding your breath whilst reading, smell of death, pterodactyls exploding out of stomachs, unicorns! This book has it all. Look out for the ominous slow clapping, that's the bit that had me pooing myself! Lots of twists and turns in more ways than one!!!
