After reading the sample chapters, I need to know more! At the moment the relevance of chapter 1 which is set in 1989 is yet to be explained, although I do have an idea as to how the girl who is standing on the cliff edge links to the present day libel trial (although I could be miles off)!
In the present day it appears that Simeon, a key witness for the defence in the libel trial has disappeared and I am eager to learn who is behind his disappearance. It is likely I think to be linked to the online chat between Simeon and User3412 in Chapter 2, as Simeon seems to be having second thoughts about something, possibly giving evidence at the trial. Charlie Priest, the lawyer for the defence sets out to find Simeon but from reading the synopsis, things look set to get very difficult for him.
