The cover does not match the blurb and first look. Because dolls are creepy I would probably pick it up in a bookshop to read the blurb.
I though the blurb sounded ok. There are not so many books written from the lawyer perspective I suppose. Usually from police, victim or offender.
The first impression was ok. Different writing styles and time periods make it interesting.
Overall it seems ok but nothing jumped out at me that made me want to as sit to my huge tbr pile.
