I really like how the author has started this book. A frightened, tearful girl on the edge of a cliff, a newly posted female police officer who appears to be on the receiving end of her superiours wrath. A 'ghost walk' party has found the girl on the cliff but as onlookers they seem to be hindering the rescue with tales of Scottish ghosts in the area.
I am very keen to know what happens to the girl on the cliff and why she is there, I think that the book will progress with a possible struggle for Rose with her colleagues.
