As soon as I saw this on readers first I wanted to read this book. The preview was amazing and had me gripped. I really liked how the author started the book, it was really interesting.
I didn't read the first page of the book in the preview as it was a list of people rating the book. However, when I had the hard copy I noticed they were talking about The Mayfly, another amazing book.
Priest is an interesting character who you want to know more and more about. This is the second book and it was just as amazing as the first. I don't think you need to have read the first book to enjoy this book.
