I really like the characters in this series. Charlie Priest, our main protagonist, is mostly likeable and thankfully is not perfect. Georgie, is the kind of person that most of us are. Things have happened to her in the past, but she is not defined by them. In this latest outing, they are embroiled in a libel case, defending a magazine who have written an article about the Elias Foundation that they deemed libellous. As the trial starts, Charlie's star witness is missing. To make matters worse, a body turns up in the boot of a journalist who seems to have set her sights on Charlie and isn't letting anything stand in her way. This is complicated by the feelings Charlie has for Jessica from his previous case.
