I was interested to read this first look. I'm a huge Shakespeare fan and I liked the idea of an explanation of his lost years, and also a way of explaining his inspiration for his Italian plays. From what I've read this books seems to have quite a complex story, with lots of different characters. I liked that it had the cast at the start for reference if things get a little confusing. Shakespeare himself seems an interesting character. I'd definitely like to read more.
The cover is lovely, the blue is a gorgeous shade and it would catch my eye on the shelf. I'd definitely pick it up to read the blurb.
