While I love the cover of this book (It's beautifully designed) as I read the blurb I realise this really isn't for me at all. The second in a series, of which I haven't read the first, and a fictional account of Shakespeares life this doesn't interest me at all....I'm not a fan of the idea of 're-imagining' and while the cover captured my attention, and in a bookstore I'd definitely pick it up, I'm afraid the blurb would make me put it down again, purely because this isn't a story that catches my imagination, rather than for the quality of the first impression.
