Ill start off honestly, it took me a while to get the want to pick this up and read. The only reason is, I've not read this genre before and they have never screamed out to me. Plus, I haven't read the first one.
The cover is beautiful, there is no denying the genre of this book.
The story itself is well written and the author clearly has a passion for William Shakespeare. It's has a lot of good characteristics, it's witty, very intelligent and a pleasant read. Being a genre Minot use to I got slightly confused or so I thought I did.
True fans of this genre are going to love it, it's just so well done. I'm glad this was the first one I read as its a fine example of excellent writing. Ill try again another time with this genre, I promise.
