This book is extremely well written and the author hooks the reader in immediately.
Set in what seems to be present time, the main character Hannah, recently widowed, has to "host" her husband's murderer in her house according to the justice system.
A cell has been constructed in her kitchen and she has to share her home with the prisoner for his entire sentence.
