This promises to take the reader on a roller-coaster of a ride!
With such a powerful opening sentence I felt immediately intrigued by the direction this psychological thriller might take. It's already clear from the first thirty pages that the journey is likely to be far from straight-forward. The writing is compelling and I'm eager to discover how the relationship between Hannah and Jem will develop. I'm sure there are going to be many unexpected twists and revelations as the story develops and I hope I'll be allowed to 'step on board' this roller-coaster of a journey!
I can already imagine that, if I'm lucky enough to win a copy, there are going to be times when the ever-increasing tension generated will, at times, feel almost unbearable ... but that's exactly what I look for in a thriller!
