The story follows Hannah and her relationship with Jem, who she is hosting. Set in the near future a victim of crime becomes the host of the person convicted. Jem is living in a cell in Hannah's house for a crime he says he didn't commit and the story goes on from there.

I enjoyed the fact that the story had a premise that was a little different. Told from both Hannah and Jem the story unfolds, and at first I really enjoyed it but the second half became a little predictable.

Overall I enjoyed the story but it didn't wow me. I also enjoyed Jem's story with the hows and whys. I enjoyed Hannah's side of the story too until things started going predictable.

I enjoyed the pace of the book and I didn't get bored at all. I didn't lose my interest just felt it didn't stand out from other thrillers, but had a promising premise.

Overall the book was ok, enough for me to read more by this author. Thank you to the publisher via Readers First for the opportunity to read and review the book.
