This book is such an interesting read! It’s given me a great insight into crime, and it’s very different from most mystery/crime books I read. It had me hooked from the start, and I think the conversations between captive and captor are super interesting. The situation is new and individual, but her feelings are the same of people nowadays, making it subconsciously relatable.
I really liked the weird neighbours as that’s something everyone has heard of. It gives great comic relief and chances for captor captive ‘moments’ that are just so interesting.
It is chock full of information and there is always something happening. It’s a smooth read that explains more uncommon phrase and events, helping me to understand the text a bit more.
Overall this was a really good read and I really want to finish. Definitely on my list of books to buy.
