This was not quite what I was expecting, but I really enjoyed reading this book. I thought that the plot and characters were all very interesting and I was kept guessing through out the book.
I was intrigued to read about an alternative reality where there are no prisons and criminals serve their sentences in the home of those who they have impacted with their crime. It was definitely very interesting to read about. I thought that the plot was well written and it had twists that I did not see coming. I enjoyed the writing style, and reading from the point of view of both Hannah and Jem. The writing flowed nicely and was easy to read.
All of the characters were very interesting and complex. I loved finding more and more out about them. There was always something more to learn about them.
I thought that the cover for this book was perfect, it hinted at the genre nicely.
