It has been a while since a book has captured me quite as much as this one! I found myself trying to guess what was going to happen and becoming a bit of a detective, but it kept me enthralled right to the end. I am not usually a big thriller or mystery book reader, but I just couldn't put this down till I found out what happened!

I loved how the story is told by both Hannah and Jems perspective, it all adds to the mystery and really helped to connect me with the characters. The concept of prisoners living in the homes of their victims or family of their victims is a terrifying idea, something which intrigued me - something I could never do!

This is a unique story written brilliantly and has made me want to read more from Deborah O'Connor. I'm really glad that i stepped out from my usual genres and gave this book a chance as I thoroughly enjoyed the twists and turns.
