Imagine having to host someone who wronged you in the worst possible way...that's the premise for this clever thriller.

The concept is definitely original; with Hannah hosting her husband's killer - Jem - captive in a cell in her kitchen! The idea for restorative justice being that the victim and prisoner live in the same place together after sentencing.

As a pretty unique story, I didn't want to put it down. It was pacey with chapters written from both Hannah's and Gem's viewpoint. With lots of surprises along the way, I felt I was kept on my toes from the first page, right up until the very end.

There's lots going on in this book, with some of the story taking place via flashback, but I never felt that this took it away from the drama or suspense in the present storyline. The short chapters drive the plot along quickly and make for an easy read. Loved it!
