This novel was excellent and more than lived up to its expectations!
The premis of the novel based on a futuristic prison system where the criminal serves their sentence in a cell in the victims house is intriguing in itself. However the twists and turns that came throughout the novel had me shocked to the very last chapter!
The writing style flows easy even though the story moves between Hannah and Jem telling the story from his past up until the night he supposedly committed the crime works really well. I would definitely buy this book as the story was so good and weaved between the 2 characters so well it’s hard to put down!
Both main characters are very likeable but makes you question their motives throughout and creates questions to keep you guessing as the story continues to unravel. Really really well written novel with realistic characters.
