This book kept me gripped from the beginning. Hannah Casey's police officer husband was murdered and the man (Jem Dahlin) convicted of his murder must spend his time in a cell in the kitchen of her house. This is under a new system by the government called restorative justice. As hannah carries on with her baking business and getting used to the situation Jem tells her he is innocent and her husband has been lying to her, at first she doesn't believe him but then she starts to look into it, and finding out her husband was not what she thought he was, she starts to question whether he could be telling the truth. With twist and turns all through the book you find yourself gripped into wondering did Jem do it like all the evidence suggests or was someone else involved. Will hannah get the answers she wants and be able to get on with her life? This book is a must read for any thriller fans
