Had read about this book previously as was excited to get my hands on it.
The prison service is overrun, so criminals now have to serve their sentence in a cell in their victims family's house. Just reading that had me wanting to read more!
This book was gripping from the beginning and I had to keep reading! Luckily the book has short chapters so 'just one more chapter' ended up being a lot more!
I like Hannah and was rooting for her but she was a bit too gullible and naive and I wanted to shout wake up woman!!!
I really wanted to get to the bottom of the story and find out what happened to John and also to Jem!
I really enjoyed it and I liked the ending, however I thought near the end of the book was quite rushed and left a few unanswered questions, could have been a bit more detailed in the run up to the ending but otherwise a gripping read!
The premise of this book is unlike anything else I have read and if you like books that keep you on the edge of your seat then this is it!
