From the little mental pep-talks that Tumi gives himself in the first pages alone, I can already feel myself growing attached. The story seems to be very simplistically written, leading up to a poignant message, and I can tell from the excerpt that the struggles Tumi goes through- and indeed tries to ignore- could become very powerful elements within the story.
