Although I definitely no longer fall into the category of Young Adult, I found the narrator, Tumi, a fourteen year old boy with albinism, really engaging. There are hints of darker things in his past as well as the everyday prejudice he suffers because of his condition. I like the idea that the book will tackle interesting questions about race and identity.
