The front cover really intrigued me - it is so bright and colourful, yet you can immediately tell it is about an albino person and that makes me assume they will face challenges within the story. As an English woman I think it is really important to not only read things from a western perspective, so am encouraged and challenged by an African novel. I'm interested to see how this tension of race and difference plays out.
