This book really did surprise me, I read and loved the first impression. I was intrigued and really excited to read it in it’s entirety. I was not disappointed, I just think I was expecting a little too much... I am by no means saying that this book is bad. I wanted it to wow me and push the boundaries of my opinions, and it did in places. I really did enjoy the emotional intensity but it in my opinion lost its momentum in several spots. In a story this emotional you would expect there to be drops in the flow to give the reader time to digest what is happening. In that point it did so successfully, however in my opinion it took too long to then build the intensity back up to the levels I was expecting.
All in all a great read, just not what I was hoping for... my opinion is my own and I encourage everyone reading this review to read it for themselves to form their own judgements.
