I cannot start reviewing this book without talking about the amazing cover, that is both captivating and fantastically done.
I always love a book where the story revolves around a singular character and his/her hardships and internal struggles. In this case, the main character appears to be particularly relatable. Being taken out of someone's shadow is always difficult. However,Tumirai's experiences are narrated in a very personal and emotional level. I also love the writing style of the author.
This is a very good read for someone looking for a magical book to be transported into.I was quite mesmerised as I kept reading through the first few pages.
I am eager to see what happens from now on and whether we can all expect a relatively happy ending for Tumirai and his grandmother.
