The quirky writing and picture on the cover make this a book you want to pick up and explore and as it's been compared to Eleanor Oliphant, that is high praise indeed as I loved that one.

I'm already liking Ailsa's mum who's first words to Ailsa when she comes round are expletives which I'd best not repeat here but the Northern mother, Hayley seems as though she's going to have plenty to say throughout the book.
I'm looking forward to reading more about Ailsa and Hayley and what's going to come next.
