Ailsa was an instantly likeable character. She drew you into the story which made it all the more compelling. The topic of transplants and how many people die each year - particularly with her giving the example of her friend/ex-boyfriend who died while on the transplant list and her who survived provides a stark contrast between the two.

I think the story of her getting used to life again in a world where she has more freedom and more ability to do things than she had before is a fantastic idea. I am looking forward to reading the rest of it and finding out what is in store for Ailsa and her family now she has made herself public via her blog too.
