The Curious Heart of Alisha Rae is a heart warming and enjoyable book for all. Now that Alisha has survived a heart surgery she suddenly needs to become a ‘normal’ adult not just a patient. This is Stephanie Butlands second book and defiantly my favourite. My favourite character was Seb, his continuance humour and different ways of looking at very ordinary things was very amusing to read. All the characters felt very real almost as if I could walk into Edinburgh and meet them. The story kept me guessing throughout and near once did I want to put it down. The scenes where Alisha and Seb were just meeting were defiantly the best, they had the awkward romance along with the pure happiness just to be there from both sides. This book kept m in right to the very end, and wishing there was more.
Although at the very start the time differences/ blog posts made it a bit hard to follow within a few pages it was super smooth. It is the best book of 2018 (so far) and I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone I meet.
