Ailsa was a lovely character and it was nice to follow along on her journey after she receives her new heart. She learns more about herself and her heart and discovers the person she was sure to become.
I was sad to learn about her ex Lennox although Ailsa learns to love again and live her life fully.
It's heartfelt and all of the characters I enjoyed reading about such as Ailsa's mum and Seb.
I enjoyed reading this. I liked seeing Ailsa's journey and what new possibilities her new heart could bring her.
She names her heart "Apple" and I think that's just too cute, and understandable that she gives her new heart a name as it doesn't really belong to her but at the same time it now does? And that's something pretty much that she has to discover for herself.
Btw I love Seb. He is just so appealing and sweet, even when past mistakes are brought up he's still so good to Ailsa and honest with her, like so upfront. I love that. I was rooting for these too all the way and loved reading their shared emails to each other. At this point I'll need to point something out which I couldn't help but notice: via one email Seb mentions about meeting for rehearsals on 2 July, although that email was sent on 6 July so I'm sure it must've meant 12? Anyway, just something minor.
I also liked reading Ailsa's blog entries and how she would include her readers in votes to decide on what she would do regarding certain situations.
This was a light read full of new adventures and romance, touching on aspects of grief and family ties.
