Ailsa is a wonderfully honest character who really tugs at the reader's heartstrings. The book is easily as good as those of Jojo Moyes, Jodi Picoult and Celia Ahearn and will be loved by those who enjoy Romeo and Juliet and Strictly Come Dancing.
