I’ve enjoyed this novel very much. I liked the characters, especially Ailsa and Seb, they were so real and loveable, and I couldn’t wait to see what happens to them at the end. The ending was slightly different from what I expected but still great. I’ve got all the answers to my questions and also got a better understanding of Hayley, Ailsa’s mother (at one point I didn't like her at all).
I liked how Aisla changed along the way, it was like a coming of age story happening in a shorter time.
Another strong point of the book that it provides loads of interesting information about transplants and people living with new organs, I learnt a lot from it.
I can’t recommend this novel enough if you want to read an uplifting and heart-warming story.
