A lovely and moving story, but although it had me hooked at the beginning it has left me with mixed feelings. The share of love for this book goes to Ailsa, who is very real, very human and going through a huge deal. Also, the main focus is not about the relationship with Seb, it's about a woman who's finding out who she is for the first time. Everything else is a help or an obstacle, but Ailsa is the key. I loved it. And I liked how the relationship developed, and that it wasn't the typical "girl going through tough times meets boy all is sorted again" type story. However, not sure exactly why but I found it not as easy or entertaining to read. As if in some parts there was so much attention to details that the main focus was a bit lost. So yeah, sweet story and very real, but sometimes a bit stretched and not that flowing. But still a good one I recommend!!
