I’ve read ‘Lost for Words’ before this one and I have to say I thought the first one was better than this one, although that’s not to say I didn’t enjoy this one.

The book tells the story of Ailsa Rae who has a heart transplant and has to live with the knowledge that she is no longer near death and fulfilling life after being given the greatest gift of all.

It’s a heart-warming (excuse the pun!) story and does really make you feel for the characters.

It didn’t grip me as much as I would have liked it to though, or I wasn’t in tears during it as I would have expected. Can’t quite put my finger on why not though.

I will definitely be reading another book by this author again though.
