I like the intro. Alfie's character seems very complex and intriguing. I want to know what has happened to him. If he's hiding or if he was right to be paranoid that he was being followed. Caroline's character seems to be well written, strong and determind. As I was reading I hoped that Hunter would be ok but I found that Rachel was a bit annoying. I'm sure her character will grow as the story continues. Overall I was impressed by the first impressions and would like to know how the story concludes.
