I'm completely gripped from the very start. I already feel tangled up in the lives of four different people and can't wait to find out how they all intertangle with each other. The descriptions of the setting are also very well done and feel transported between time and place.
I have not read anything by Sam Blake before however after reading this first look, I'm very tempted to take a look at a few other books by him.
