The cover of the book instantly gripped me. I enjoy books which have a bold title with an mysterious style background, it helps to picture what the book would be like before I even read it. The first few pages really set the scene. Just the first few sentences really sets the mood that Alfie was nervous and the way that he hesitated. I can’t wait to read more of the book. I really want to know what the suspense feels like and how the author will take us on this mysterious road through his book.
