This extract was very intriguing. I enjoy mysteries and thrillers which have multiple plot lines running simultaneously - that are linked in some way. The Author writes really well and sets the scene clearly. I liked the front cover as it's eye catching with really nice colours that suit the tone of the book. A very good start to this book.
