When I first saw the cover of an old abandoned looking building and read the title I thought it was probably a book about an individual who goes back to their old home and revisits their past and possible secrets of ‘the dark room’, however after reading the blurb it seems to me that the homeless man is more than just homeless and perhaps is an undercover spy for a big organisation who may possibly have been undercover and discovered something about the organisation he works for that they possibly don’t want discovered, perhaps it is something about the 30 year old mystery but as I haven’t read the book, I think it would be interesting to see if my intuition is correct or if I’m totally off track and the story is more complex and an bigger mystery than the 30 year old case.
