Neither the book cover or the title attracted my attention. When reading the first look, the writing style seems a bit too simple and it felt more like they were telling me things instead of showing. When the police officers told Rachel about her husband's accident, I just couldn't bring myself to care. Her constant thoughts interrupting the dialogue kept bringing me out of the situation. I'll have to pass on this book.
