As soon as I saw the cover the first thing that caught my eye dark cover which intrigued me as I enjoy thrillers/ hours. After reading Carolines story, I knew I had to read it as you don't hear much about law suits and legal actions against the main characters. Lastly the implication that they met not by accident was a main attraction.
