I, unfortunately, did not like this book at all.
I was very excited to receive this book as the first impression was so interesting and had so much potential. However, this book did not live up to my expectations.
The book started off strongly introducing us to two characters. Both the characters in my opinion were quite boring but as I was interested in the story I ignored this. As the book continued I felt no connection to the characters or the story/plot at all. they felt bland and forced and just plain boring.
I got 140 pages and over 20 chapters into this book and I just had to stop because I felt no interest and I was completely confused as to what was going on. I felt like the only way for me to understand what was happening would be to restart the book which I was not going to do because I no longer cared about the plot or the story.
I wish I enjoyed this book but unfortunately, it was not for me.
