I shall start by saying that aesthetically the book is BEAUTIFUL!! It even looks mysterious and intriguing. The print is quite large compared to my other books so it’s great if your eyesight is on the worse side, I’ve already let my mum borrow this book as I know she will love it 😊
I enjoyed the plot and all the twists and turns, I did find it slow in parts (mostly the beginning) and too busy in others, however when the story started to unfold and there was a balance between too busy and too slow, it was a really enjoyable read!!
The writer did an amazing job at the descriptions, you could really envision it, whilst the in-depth descriptions are great, they could go into every detail which could drag a little at times, however they were well written and that cannot be faulted with this story.
Overall, if you enjoy a mystery/thriller book that has twists and turns I highly recommend this!!
