This thriller tells the tale of Rachel and Caroline who meet at a hotel called Hares Landing. Caroline is a New York crime reporter returning to a childhood place to take a break following difficulties in her job. Rachel is trying to locate details about the mysterious Alfie Bows, a homeless man that her partner Hunter has befriended and made a documentary about. Alfie has disappeared and Rachel is looking for clues as to his real identity and what caused him to become homeless in the first place.
These two characters join forces in this mystery and get much more than they bargained for.
This tale keeps you hooked all the way through and the setting is well described and atmospheric.
