I found this book a bit slow to get into at first and had to encourage myself to pick it up and read which isn’t like me at all - this could be to do with other circumstances and not just the book though!
The pace definitely did pick up and the book was full of surprises and little twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting. Although you kind of get a loose idea of what’s happened (as in you can tell that’s somethings not quite right) I wasn’t really anywhere near the truth.
Even though we find out the truth eventually I feel that there could be another book coming with more stories featuring Rachel and Caroline. They are both such strong, interesting characters that I would love to read more about them. A crime journalist and a film set researcher could be the openings for many a tale!
So much action was fitted into this book that specific scenes keep coming back to me! Especially on those windy evenings!
