When I opened up this book, I did not really expect to get into it. I felt like it sort of dragged on but I thought the plot was really good. The first few chapters took a while to understand because it went from one character to another. I wasn't too sure of the book cover, I mean it wasn't too bad but I guess it did set the mood of the book. 'The Dark Room' that sort of name gets you thinking 'uh oh something bad is gonna happen' and bad stuff did happen, I mean thriller and suspense that is definitely not something positive. I love a good thriller and I couldn't put the book down until I finally finished it. I would recommend this book for people who are just looking for that little bit of ✨spice✨ in their reading life. Overall it is a good book. I think the first few chapters should've been easier to read but it was well worth the wait. 7/10 for people who love thriller and suspense.
