This unfortunately was not for me. I had high hopes but it was far far too descriptive for my tastes. I enjoy a sharp thriller that’ll grip me. I found myself skimming pages and looking for dialogue so that I could get on with the actual story.
In the end I had to give up. I think if you enjoy very descriptive and slow paced reads you will enjoy this one but it just didn’t suit my preference.
The cover too a beautiful and the writing is good it’s just not my taste.
The synopsis is good and maybe if I had stuck with it I would have enjoyed it but my tbr is too long to persevere with books I’m not enjoying. It was a slog to get as far as I did. However, I’m sure it’ll be a fab read for others so please if you like the look of this one, try it out and make your own decision. If you do, I truly hope you enjoy it.
